My 3 year old loves this book so much! There are enough pages that he finds it fun after a few months of using it a few times a week. IOne star off because the black dry erase marker that comes with the book is difficult to erase unless it's erased right away. I bought Expo dry erase markers and they are a little easier to erase; also, magic eraser sponges work very well.
My almost 4 year old really enjoys this book. He likes that if he “makes a mistake†he can just quick erase and do over. The pictures are colorful and engaging. I especially like the sturdy pages. I would buy again but would probably have bought the tracing letters book as he can already write some letters. This book would be ideal for practicing pencil control and beginning writers.
This was a fun book for my 3.5 year old daughter to do on the airplane. It was a little simple for her, but she enjoyed it. I do wish there was somewhere for the marker to be stored. She mostly just used her finger to trace the lines and she liked it
I love to use this book for children I am working with to develop pencil control and prewriting shapes. All of my kids so far have enjoyed it, and consider the pages to be more like games than work! Also it is erasable and can be used again and again!
My son is 3 and learning to write and draw and he loved this! He likes that he can wipe it off and use it again and again. I like that the marker can be stored in it too so it does not get lost.
Good for practicing beginning writing skills. More for children that haven't started to form letters yet - my daughter is 3 for reference. The book builds upon itself, starting with more basic lines - first horizontal and vertical. Then it moves on to diagonal lines and zig zags. It builds up to arcs and valleys and finally to different shapes. The last few pages combine all the different types of lines and shapes. The pictures are colorful and fun, very much in the style of Highlights magazines and their other books.The pen included ran out quickly. We needed to buy another whiteboard marker pen to use with the book. It wipes off incredibly easily, which is great. We could uuat use a dry cloth to wipe off the old marker marks.We are an unschooling family, so I don't require my kids to do certain schoolwork for homeschooling. My daughter picks this up on her own at least once a week and it's wonderful and fun writing practice for her. Outside of the included marker, an overall amazing and useful homeschool product.
My son loves this book! The book has a new dry erase activity on each page. He is able to practice using a pencil correctly by tracing the dotted lines on each activity. It also helps him to identify different shapes and colors. A very fun reusable educational activity!
My toddler loved this book. It is colorful and simple with instructions. Each page is filled with cute pictures and different directions and fun interactive questions. It is a beautifully made activity book. My toddler could not put it down. The quality is great too. Definitely highly recommended!
